Social Impact

Making a difference, closer to home.

Supporting the Local Community

Closer to home, I also contribute to local schools and community fundraising initiatives where possible, including fundraising events, donations and charity auctions.

These may be smaller contributions, but they matter to the people and communities receiving them.

Continuing to Contribute

I'd like Storm McQueen Coaching's contribution to grow alongside the business.

That might mean taking on a fundraising challenge, supporting a particular project or finding other practical ways to contribute to the charities and communities I care about.

At Storm McQueen Coaching, making a positive contribution goes beyond the work I do with clients. It's also about giving time, sharing experience and supporting causes that matter. I've chosen to focus on charities closer to home, where even a relatively small contribution can make a difference, alongside voluntary mentoring and supporting local community initiatives.

MANUP? | Men's Mental Health

Too many men struggle with their mental health without seeking or receiving the support they need. The expectation that men should simply get on with things can make it even harder to speak openly about what's happening.

Based in Ipswich, MANUP? challenges the stigma surrounding men's mental health and works to change attitudes towards asking for help. Through awareness campaigns, research, education and group support initiatives, the charity is working to improve the support available to men.

It's a cause I believe deserves greater attention and one I've chosen to support.

4YP | For Children & Young People

Every young person deserves somewhere safe to turn, someone who will listen and opportunities to enjoy being young, regardless of their circumstances.

Based in Ipswich, 4YP supports children and young people aged 7 to 25 through counselling, youth work, school-based programmes and community activities.

For young people experiencing difficult circumstances, having access to trusted adults, practical support and positive experiences can make an enormous difference.

4YP's work helps provide those opportunities, particularly for young people who might otherwise struggle to access them.

Help to Grow: Management

Social contribution isn't always financial. Sometimes, sharing experience and giving someone the time to think through their challenges can be just as valuable.

As a volunteer mentor with the Help to Grow: Management programme, I give my time and professional experience to support small business leaders as they navigate the challenges of running, managing and growing their businesses.

Small businesses are an important part of our local communities and economy. Supporting the people behind them is another way I can contribute beyond my commercial coaching work.
